Delacy Place – Pasadena, CA

Delacey Place is an urban residential mixed-use project located within walking distance to public transportation and historic Old Town Pasadena, CA. Comprised of a mix of thirty, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom units with two townhome units located on penthouse level, the project is constructed in six stories on two levels of subterranean containing private and common garages. Access from garage is provided by a set of two elevators and stairs. The project’s street level is occupied by the Main entrance, an elevator lobby to residential units, a mix of retail and office spaces on north and south sides of the main entrance and retail parking. The residential units are designed like a horse shoe around an open end courtyard containing a glass bottom pull over entrance lobby and a spa and private patios and balconies facing pool and courtyard. The remaining residential units are designed with ample private terraces and balconies that provide outdoor space in facing north, south and east, away from courtyard. The penthouse units on 5th and sixth floors have roof top gardens, large terraces, and balconies that provide captivating views of immediate Old Town Pasadena and surrounding cities. It was the client’s wish to have a building that is timeless yet classic and numerous references to classic elements are made to accomplish the intent as evidenced in detailing of railings, fenestration and trim. The building is finished with steel trawled cement plaster exterior walls, Aluminum clad wood windows, hand crafted ornamental wrought iron railing and cast stone trim, columns and portico.
